Our Approach

We combine research excellence with practical execution, helping organisations build the internal capability to improve wellbeing and strengthen company performance.

Our framework of “Measure, Understand, Act” provides organisations with a structured, evidence-based way to embed wellbeing as a strategic priority that evolves over time.

A Dynamic Model of
Workplace Wellbeing

Our approach is underpinned by a model that distinguishes between wellbeing outcomes, workplace conditions, and the pathways leading to organisational performance.

This model guides the world’s largest study of workplace wellbeing in partnership with Indeed and it has been endorsed by the World Economic Forum.

Our Evidence-Based Approach:
Measure, Understand, Act

Our approach utilizes a flexible sequence, enabling organisations to enter where most valuable and build toward a coherent, performance-linked wellbeing strategy.

Phase 01

Measure

Establish a robust and decision-relevant foundation for workplace wellbeing.

We audit existing surveys and data, design or refine measurement frameworks, and implement validated tools to ensure wellbeing is measured coherently across the organisation.

What we deliver:

  • Survey audit and redesign (validity, coverage, bias)

  • Development of a coherent wellbeing measurement framework

  • Construction of composite metrics (e.g. wellbeing indices)

  • Internal and external benchmarking

  • Integration with operational data (e.g. turnover, absence, performance)

Phase 02

Understand

Translate data into clear, prioritised insight about what drives wellbeing and performance.

We apply advanced analytical methods to identify the working conditions that matter most, and where intervention will have the greatest impact.

What we deliver:

  • Driver analysis (multivariate modelling)

  • Identification of key wellbeing drivers by role, team, and demographic

  • Prioritisation frameworks (importance vs experience)

  • Triangulation with operational and performance data

Phase 03

Act

Design and support targeted, evidence-based organisational change.

We translate insight into practical interventions that address root causes and embed change across leadership, systems, and ways of working.

What we deliver:

  • Intervention design aligned to key drivers

  • Guidance on work design, leadership practice, and team processes

  • Pilot design and testing (including RCTs where feasible)

  • Implementation planning and governance support

Ongoing

Lead

Build the internal alignment and external credibility required to sustain impact.

We support organisations in engaging leadership, strengthening the business case, and communicating their approach to workplace wellbeing with clarity and authority.

What we deliver:

  • Executive briefings, stakeholder sessions, and business case development

  • Thought leadership and external positioning

  • Support for reporting, communications, and employer brand
